Insertion of gene trap vector
Vector: pGT0Lxf
Vector Type: gene trap

Mutation details: A beta-geo gene trap vector inserted into intron 1. Western blot analysis confirmed the absence of protein expression in extracts from primary fibroblasts. In primary fibroblasts levels of phophatidylinositol 3,5-biphosphate and phophatidylinositol 5-phosphate are significantly reduced while levels of phophatidylinositol 3-phosphate are elevated.

All BayGenomics gene trap mutations were generated in either CGR8 or E14TG2a (129P2/OlaHsd) parental ES cell lines, with the majority in subline E14TG2a.4. The specific ES cell line in which each mutation was made is not specified.
