Mutation detailsA loxP site was targeted into the Mpo gene. A second loxP site was targeted in trans into the Chad gene. Transient expression of Cre recombinase in ES cells resulted in recombination between loxP sites on opposite chromosomes, deleting the 6.9 Mb region from Mpo to Chad. (J:109163)
