Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Chemically induced (ENU)
Mutation:    Single point mutation

Mutation detailsThe Cpg3 phenotype was identified in an ENU mutagenesis screen for mutants with impaired response to Toll-like receptor (TLR) ligands. The mutation is a T-to-A transversion at nucleotide position 747 of the gene (Genbank Accession NM_031178) that results in replacement of valine by glutamic acid at amino acid position 214 of the receptor protein. Inheritance:    Other (see notes)

Carrying this Mutation:  Mouse Strains: 1 strain available      Cell Lines: 0 lines available
Carrying any Tlr9 Mutation:  66 strains or lines available
Notes
The inheritance of the phenotype associated with this mutation is likely semidominant, as are other mutations at this locus, but heterozygous mutant mice have not been characterized. (J:128406)
