Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Transactivator)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsAn improved reverse tetracyclin-dependent transactivator (rtTA2S-M2) and a floxed neo cassette were inserted into exon 1. Expression of the transactivator is under the control of the endogenous promoter. Northern blot analysis was performed to confirmed expression of rtTA in mammary gland and uterus. The insertion also results in a null allele as stated by the authors. (J:128735)
