description
Allele Type:    Targeted
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsThe cytoplasmic tail from amino acid position 183 to 228 was replaced with the cytoplasmic tail of Cd79a from amino acid position 161 to 220. A stop codon follows the last amino acid of the inserted Cd79a segment. A floxed neo cassette was inserted downstream of the Ig domain and subsequently removed by cre-mediated recombination. The presence of the modified protein and the absence of the full length endogenous transcript was confirmed by western blot analysis on B cell lysates. (J:128768)
