Germline Transmission:  Earliest citation of germline transmission: J:130430
Parent Cell Line:  CCB (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  129S/SvEv-Gpi1c
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsIn a two step integration process a hyg cassette with a 5' loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 1 and a puromycin resistance cassette with a 3' loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 22. Cre-mediated recombination was used to delete exons 1 through 21. The absence of protein expression was confirmed by immunohistochemistry. (J:130430)
