Mutation details: A cassette containing rat cDNA for Gria2 with with 200 bp of the 5' untranslated region and the Q/R site edited in the flip configuration, an IRES, a lacZ reporter gene and a neo selection marker was knocked into exon 2 upstream of the translation initiation codon. Gria2 expression is detected in GABAergic interneurons by immunocytohistochemistry. This is a reporter and knockin allele.
