Mutation details: This transgene contains the inducible mouse Mt1 (metallothionein) promoter, cDNA of the wild-type allele of the human TGFA (transforming growth factor alpha) gene, and a human growth hormone polyadenylation signal. Two lines (100 and 42) with 100 and 42 copies of the transgene, respectively, were created. When line number is not designated this allele is used.
