description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Inserted expressed sequence)
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(RHO-VEGFA)V-6Camp expresses 1 gene

Mutation detailsThis transgene consists of a 2.2 kb fragment of the bovine rhodopsin promoter driving expression of a full length human VEGFA cDNA followed by an intron and polyA site from the mouse protamine gene. Three to four copies of the transgene were incorporated in this line. A strong mRNA signal is seen in the retina of hemizygous mice at 1 month of age. (J:41411)
