description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Conditional ready, Constitutively active, Humanized sequence, Inserted expressed sequence, Reporter)
Mutation:    Insertion

Gt(ROSA)26Sortm1(PDGFRA*)Hsc expresses 1 gene

Mutation detailsThe Gt(ROSA)26Sor gene is interrupted by a DNA sequence encoding a constitutively active mutant human platelet derived growth factor receptor, alpha polypeptide, in which the aspartic acid at amino acid position 842 has been replaced by valine (D842V). The PDGFRA sequence is preceded by a loxP flanked cassette containing termination codons in all three reading frames. In the presence of cre recombinase, this STOP cassette is excised, permitting expression of the mutant receptor from the native Gt(ROSA)26Sor promoter. (J:145520)
Inheritance:    Dominant
