description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Modified isoform(s))
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsExon 5b was replaced with the sequence for an additional exon5a. A floxed cre cassette used for selection purposes was inserted into intron 5 and removed by germ line, cre mediated recombination. The lack of B isoform mRNA was confirmed by semi-quantitative PCR while the overall protein expression level from this gene was slightly increased as determined by protein quantitation. (J:142096)
