Parent Cell Line:  ATOM1 (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  (C57BL/6 x 129)F1
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout, Reporter)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsA lacZ gene with a nuclear localization signal and 5' lox71 site followed by a neo cassette flanked by lox2272 sites replaces the 5' region of the single exon. The absence of transcript expression was confirmed by northern blot analysis on E10.5 embryos extracts. Transcript expression of Mirn214 is undetectable and that of Mirn199a-2 is downregulated.
