• Mutation details: Two PAC clones containing the human renin gene were used to generate transgenic mice. The clones were obrained from Genome Systems (PAC-28-13A and PAC-111-11L). Three lines were tested from each. The initial report emphasized 6407/1 and 6680/2, both of which displayed moderate renin expression. Line 6407/1 has been chosen as representative. (J:58897)
