Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted
Mutations:    Insertion, Nucleotide substitutions

Mutation detailsThe leucine at position 210 was mutated to a theonine (L210T) by changing the corresponding codon in exon 4 from TTG toACG. A floxed neomycin cassette was inserted into the NcoI restriction site within intron 3 for targeting purposes and was subsequently removed by crossing founder mice with cre transgenic mice. Quantitative PCR demonstrated expression levels of the mutant allele were similar to the wild-type allele. (J:144698)
