Allele Type: Targeted (Inserted expressed sequence, Null/knockout) Mutations: Insertion, Intragenic deletion Mutation details: Exons 2 and 3 and intron 2 were replaced with a murine Cdkn1b cDNA modified with a hemagglutinin (HA) epitope and a floxed neo cassette. The neo cassette was then removed by Cre mediated recombination. The presence of the HA tag did not interfere with interactions of CDKN1B with CDK2 and CDK4. Expression analysis confirmed the expression of the knocked in cDNA under control of the endogenous promoter and with normal paternal imprinting intact. (J:147145)
