Parent Cell Line:  E14.1 (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  129P2/OlaHsd
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Dominant negative)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsThe coding sequence was replaced with one encoding a truncated and dominant inhibitory isoform followed by a floxed neo cassette. Nucleotides 91 through 550 encoding the long transactivating transcript (LAP*) and N termini are deleted. Only the short repressive transcript is produced. Germ line, cre mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. (J:150006)
