Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Not Applicable)
Mutations:    Insertion, Nucleotide substitutions

Mutation detailsExon 11 was replaced with one in which codons for serines 341, 367, and 402 were modified to code for alanines. A floxed neo cassette upstream of the modified exon 11 was used for selection but was removed by cre expression in ES cells. These serines are located at conserved Chk2 sites and are necessary for protein degradation. (J:150341)
