Transgene
origin
Strain of Origin:  C3HeB/FeJ
Transgene
description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Recombinase)
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(Smad7-cre)1Sjc expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsA 4.3 kb fragment of the Smad7 promoter was cloned into an expression vector in front of the EGFPcre sequence. The linearized construct was injected into C3H/FeJ zygotes. Two lines were generated that gave similar expression patterns when crossed to the R26R reporter line, and only one line was studied further. (J:150864)
