origin
Germline Transmission:  Earliest citation of germline transmission: J:153089
Parent Cell Line:  Not Specified (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  C57BL/6N
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsA loxP site and an frt flanked neo cassette were inserted upstream of exon 4 and a second loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 4. Cre mediated recombination then removed exon 4 leaving a single loxP site. Western blot analysis confirmed the absence of protein expression in the livers of homozygous mutants. (J:153089)
