The neo cassette was then removed by Cre mediated recombination. Western blot analysis detected normal expression levels of the full length mutant protein in homozygous MEFs. Nucleo-cytoplasmic distribution of the mutant protein in homozygous MEFs is similar to that in wild-type cells. (J:156743)
