Mutation details: A single nucleotide change was introduced within exon 12 resulting in an amino acid substitution K661R and codons 992-994 were deleted by homologous recombination. In addition a floxed neomycin phosphotransferase cassette was inserted in intron 11 and an FRT flanked hygro cassette was inserted within exon 17 by homologous recombination. The selection cassettes have been removed by flp and cre mediated recombination.
