description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Humanized sequence, Inducible, Inserted expressed sequence)
Inducer:    doxycycline/tetracycline
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(tetO-CUGBP1)3413Coop expresses 1 gene

Mutation detailsThe tetracycline-responsive element and minimal CMV promoter drives expression of the FLAG-tagged LYLQ isoform of the human cDNA preceded by a genomic fragment containing the untranslated exons 2 and 3 with intron 2 of Myh6 and followed by a bovine hormone polyadenylation site and 3' flanking genomic sequence. Three lines were created (including lines 3413 and 3481). Line 3413 exhibit a 4- to 8-fold induction of exogenous protein expression. (J:157646)
