Transgene
description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Inserted expressed sequence)
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(AMH-Fshr*D580H)14Hht expresses 1 gene

Mutation detailsThe transgene contains a 3.6 kb human AMH promoter, and a murine Fshr with Asp580His mutation. Line number 14 was used in the study of mRNA and hormone level. mRNA of the transgenes was expressed in the ovaries and testes. The expression level of the transgene was similar to that of the endogenous mFshr in the ovaries. The severity of the abnormalities detected in ovaries, adrenal gland, pituitary gland and mammary gland correlated with the ovarian transgenic expression level. (J:160015)
