description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Humanized sequence, Inserted expressed sequence)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsDNA sequence encoding the human M1' segment was inserted immediately following the splice acceptor site of the mouse IgE M1 exon. In addition, an IRES element followed by a GFP construct modified to encode an F64A amino acid change and then a floxed neomycin selection cassette were all inserted downstream of the mouse IgE M2 exon. The selection cassette was subsequently excised by transient in vitro cre expression. (J:161452)
