Transgene
description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Transposon concatemer)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsThis transgene consists of PiggyBac and Sleeping Beauty inverted terminal repeats flanking (in order) a carp beta actin splice acceptor, two bidirectional SV40 polyadenylation signals, the CAG (cytomegalovirus enhancer and chicken beta-actin) promoter, the Foxf2 exon 1 splice donor and an inverted Engrailed 2 exon 2 splice acceptor. The PiggyBac and Sleeping Beauty terminal repeats are inverted relative to each other. This line contains 80 copies of the transgene inserted into chromosome 5. (J:166063)
