Mutation detailsA loxP site and an FRT-flanked NeoR cassette were inserted upstream of exon 2, and a second loxP site was introduced into the 3 region of the gene. Flp-mediated recombination removed the neo cassette, and cre-mediated recombination removes exon 2. The absence of protein expression was confirmed by western blot analysis and immunohistochemistry.
