Allele Type: Targeted (Null/knockout) Mutations: Insertion, Intragenic deletion Mutation details: A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon D, and a neo cassette with a 3' loxP site was inserted downstream of exon D. Cre-mediated recombination removed the neo cassette and exon D. The absence of protein expression was confirmed by western blot analysis on E12.5 embryo extracts. (J:167544)
