Mutation details: A cDNA encoding exons 1-383 and an engineered stop codon at position 384 and a floxed neomycin selection cassette replaced the endogenous coding sequence. The resulting allele lacks the sequence encoding amino acids 384-527 of the intact protein. The selection cassette was subsequently removed by cre excision.
