Allele Type: Targeted (Null/knockout) Mutations: Insertion, Intragenic deletion Mutation details: A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 1. A floxed neo cassette was inserted downstream of exon 1. Cre-mediated recombination removed exon 1 and the neo cassette. The absence of transcript expression was confirmed by RT-PCR on E9.5 embryo extracts. (J:171997)
