Parent Cell Line:  TC1/TC-1 (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  129S6/SvEvTac
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Inserted expressed sequence, Null/knockout)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsA loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 11, and a floxed neo cassette and mutant version of exon 11 (with an in frame deletion of the 49 RING domain encoding amino acids) were inserted downstream of exon 11 via homologous recombination. Cre mediated recombination removed the endogenous exon 11 and the neo cassette, leaving the modified exon 11 in place. (J:174368)
