Mutation description

Allele Type: Targeted (Null/knockout) Mutations: Insertion, Intragenic deletion Mutation details: Exons 19 and 20 were floxed by inserting a floxed neo cassette into intron 18 and an additional loxP site in intron 20. Cre-mediated recombination removed exons 19 and 20 and the neo cassette. The absence of transcripts containing exon 20 was confirmed by RT-PCR on brain extracts. (J:174397)
