description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout, Reporter)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsThe conditional allele (P2Bc) was generated by inserting a loxP-flanked neo cassette and a beta-galactosidase sequence into the first exon of the locus coding for the large subunit of RNA polymerase II. Cre-mediated recombination removes the intervening sequence, creating a recombined reporter allele (P2Br) that expresses beta-galactosidase. (J:67932)
