Mutation details: A C to T point mutation was introduced into the gene coding for the third C domain of the mu-heavy chain causing the amino acid encoded by codon 436 to change from proline to serine. A floxed neomycin was inserted as well. This neo cassette was subsequently excised from correctly targeted mice.
