Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Not Specified)
Mutations:    Insertion, Single point mutation

Mutation detailsAn F3-flanked puro cassette with a 5' loxP site was inserted upstream of a modified exon 9 in which nucleotide substitution results in the amino acid substitution of alanine for aspartic acid at position 359 (D359A). This amino acid substitution corresponds to position 358 in the human sequence. An FRT-flanked neo/IRES cassette with a 3' loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 10. Flp-mediated recombination removed the puro and neo/IRES cassette. (J:179219)
