Mutation details: A 300 kb deletion was induced by cre mediated recombination between Is(2)46Ddu and Tn(sb-SBlac)C.176599bFsp . The deletion encompasses the proximal half of the gene desert upstream of Lnp and does not include the global control region (GCR) that modifies expression of the Hoxd genes. At E12.5 mRNA expression of Hoxd13 and Hoxd12 was reduced to 70% of wild-type in the developing autopod.
