Mutation details: A 1.7 kb fragment including exons 1 and 2 was replaced with a floxed cassette containing a neomycin resistance gene under the control of the RNA polymerase II promoter and cre recombinase under the control of the angiotensin converting enzyme promoter. Cre mediated recombination during spermatogenesis removed the selection cassette.
