Allele Type: Targeted (Null/knockout) Mutations: Insertion, Intragenic deletion Mutation details: A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 4. An FRT-flanked neo cassette with a 5' loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 4. Cre-mediated recombination removed exon 4 and flp-mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. Western blot analysis confirmed the absence of protein expression in brain lysates. (J:185311)
