• Mutation details: An EGFP/cre-Frt-kan-Frt cassette was inserted into the 3' UTR of Mylk (telokin) in a BAC by homologous recombination to produce the targeting construct. Induction of flp in bacterial cells removed the kanamycin selection cassette. The construct was injected into fertilized oocytes. Two founders were obtained, and one was characterized in detail.
