An FRT flanked gene trap cassette (splice acceptor, neo, IRES, GFP and polyadenylation sequence) with a 3' loxP site was targeted downstream of exon 3. Flp-mediated recombination removed the gene trap vector and left exons 2 and 3 floxed. (J:194195)
