Allele Type: Targeted (Null/knockout) Mutations: Insertion, Intragenic deletion Mutation details: A neo cassette with a 5' FRT site was inserted upstream of exon 2. An additional FRT site was inserted downstream of exon 3. Flp-mediated recombination removed exon 2 and 3. Western blot analysis confirmed the absence of protein expression in mouse embryonic fibroblasts induced with IFN-beta. (J:195382)
