Strain of Origin:  A/J
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Chemically induced (ENU)
Mutation:    Single point mutation

Mutation detailsEight week old A/J male mice were treated weekly for three weeks with ENU. After several weeks of recovery, mice were crossed to C57BL/6 females with or without a lacZ reporter. Resulting females were backrossed to their fathers and subjected to phenotype screening. The mutation is a C to T change at position 103538585 and results in an ARG3936Stop codon change. (J:199782)
