Mutation details: A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 1. A floxed neomycin resistance cassette was inserted downstream of exon 1. The neomycin resistance cassette and exon 1 were removed via Cre-mediated recombination in the germline. Immunohistochemistry confirmed the absence of protein expression in epithelial tissues.
