Mutation details: Most of the reading frame was replaced by a loxP site, cDNA with a nucleotide substitution results in the amino acid substitution of alanine for cysteine at position 1201 (C1201A) in the methyltransferase-dead SET-domain, IRES, neomycin resistance cassette and a loxP site. The mutation abolishes enzymatic activity but does not affect heterodimerization with Ehmt2.
