Mutation detailsRecombineering methods were used to insert a cre/ERT2 cassette immediately after the ATG start codon of the Hcn4 locus in a bacterial artificial chromosome (this BAC does not encode other proteins or micro RNAs). The BAC construct was purified and used for pronuclear injection of fertilized oocytes. Two founders were generated, with essentially identical cre activity patterns following tamoxifen treatment being observed. One line was chosen for detailed analyses. (J:207828)
