Mutation detailsThis serological allele is recognized by epitope 3 (J:8236). Sequence differences between the haplotypes (a, b and c) largely result in amino acid variation in the extracellular domains. The c haplotype contains a 7 amino acid deletion in the C-type lectin-like domain. However, the amino acid sequence of the transmembrane domain and cytoplasmic region is identical to the other hapotype alleles (a, b and d). This allele was identified in the strains AKR, MRL and SJL. (J:1507, J:23623)
