description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Reporter)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsAn EGFP gene with a stop codon was fused to exon 11. Exon 12 was replaced with a floxed neomycin resistance cassette. Cre-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette. Western blot analysis confirmed the expression of a smaller than normal protein (~100 kDa). However, cell membrane localization of the truncated protein is normal. (J:209027)
