• Mutation details: A floxed neomycin resistance cassette was inserted upstream of exon 5. An additional loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 5. Cre-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette and exon 5. This deletion results in the elimination of the first coding exon of the catalytic domain and a frameshift of the subsequent downstream exons. Northern blot analysis confirmed the absence of transcript expression. (J:210147)
