Mutation details: This transgene contains a modified BAC RP23-284A14 in which a cre and floxed neo cassette was inserted into exon 1 replacing a portion of the coding region. Cre-mediated deletion was used to remove the neo cassette. Six founder lines were generated one with only 80% of peritoneal mast cells expressing the transgene that was not further examined and two other lines expressing in 100% of peritoneal cells in an autosomal inheritance pattern (line A) and the other in an X-linked inheritance pattern (line X). The pound symbol (#) is used when no line is specified and/or lines are pooled.
