Transgene
description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Inserted expressed sequence, Reporter)
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(Scgb1a1-Muc5b,-AcGFP)#Evns expresses 1 gene

Mutation detailsThis transgene consists of the airway specific rat Scgb1a1 promoter, the full-length mouse Muc5b genomic DNA, and an IRES-AcGFP (Aequorea coerulescens green fluorescent protein). Two lines were generated, however the pound symbol (#) is used when line is not specified and/or lines are pooled. Western blot and immunohistochemistry confirmed expression of the transgene in the lungs. (J:207159)
