Mapping and Phenotype information for this QTL, its variants and associated markers

F2-intercross pedigree analysis of progeny from crosses between a single male of the outbred mouse line DU6 (selected for high body weight) and a DUKs female (a randomly mated control line) was used to map quantitative trait loci (QTL). A QTL linked withbody weight, Bw7, was placed at 55cM on mouse Chromosome 4. A QTL associated with abdominal fat weight, Afw2, was placed at 51cM. A QTL associated with abdominal fat percent Afpq2 was placed at 55cM. A QTL associated with liver weight, Lwq1, was placed at 57cM.
